FLY AND TRADE

Start with a small fighter at Vector Station. Buy goods where they're made and sell where they're wanted - prices move as pilots trade. Take courier, cargo and bounty jobs from station mission boards, earn standing with the System Guard, the Union and the Syndicate, buy bigger ships, fit weapons and parts, and paint them your way.

A GALAXY TO EXPLORE

Supercruise across star systems and hyperjump between thousands of stars. Find asteroid fields, ship graveyards, glowing nebulae with lightning storms, and the hand-made Core Hub systems. Land on rocky, icy, ocean, jungle and lava planets with day and night, seas and canyons.

FIGHT

Dogfight pirates and the Automata, a rogue machine race. Shields, boost, guns and missiles; police patrol the safe systems, while the outer rim is lawless. On foot you wear an exosuit - double jump, dash, wall run - and carry two guns from the armoury.

CAPITAL SHIPS, RAIDS AND BATTLES

Fly into the hangars of huge carriers, pirate motherships and Automata hives, fight through their decks, crack the vault or blow the reactor. Join sky battles over planets, or buy a capital ship of your own as a mobile base.

BUILD

Snap together your own ships from parts - the parts decide how fast and tough they are - and build bases on planets and stations in space, on your own or with your player faction.
