PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This page explains what information Project Star-Vector ("the game", "we") collects when you play, why, and the choices you have.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Your pilot callsign - the name you choose. Other players can see it.
A secret pilot key - created when you first log in and kept in your browser's local storage, so only your browser can use your callsign. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Your game progress - your ship, credits, cargo, jobs, faction standing, and where you last were, stored on our game server so you can carry on later.
Chat and faction content - chat messages are passed to other players in real time. Faction names, tags and logos you upload are stored and shown to other players.
Technical data - like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the game and protect it from abuse.
We don't ask for your real name, email address, location or payment details, and we don't sell your information.
COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
The game uses your browser's local storage for your pilot key and settings (like invert pitch). It does not use cookies of its own.
ADVERTISING
The game may show ads to keep it free. If it does, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Your pilot record is kept while you play. Ask us to delete it (see Contact) and we will remove your pilot and its progress.
CHILDREN
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
